Photographing the steam train that is coming to San Diego on September 21st will take careful planning. Here is a scouting report on seven possible San Diego County photo locations from Soledad lagoon in the south to Batiquitos Lagoon in the north.
It’s easy to find a steam train in a museum, but riding the tracks between two major cities? That’s special. San Diegans will have the opportunity to photograph two of these historic events in 2008. Read on for photo tips and a video of the June 1st, 2008 journey.
