Hello Guy,

Sounds like you have a bit of work ahead of you matching those scans with your digital images. Good luck with your project.

A Google search brought me to this entry of your blog; I have a bunch of images scanned from film that have either no date or the date of the scan, and I need them to match the dates of the digital images taken the same days. That way they'll be grouped with their peers in Lightroom's Library view.

As a tech writer, I appreciate your clear, concise instructions. Thanks for helping me clear up the problem.

Stephanie,

Glad to help. As with all Adobe software, there are features we never use - or even knew existed - until the moment we need them. Lightroom's capture time adjustment is one of those. Good luck with your 2700 images.

Thank you very much. I'm very happy to see that Adobe has made it so simple. I was just now importing about 2700 pictures from a vacation three time zones away. I'm rather ashamed that I didn't see this option myself and had to go searching for it. Adobe does make things deceptively easy sometimes.
