Postcard from Savannah, Georgia: Forsyth Park Fountain

by Alan Haynes / PhotoCitizen on February 16, 2010

Forsyth Park Fountain, Savannah, Georgia, USA

This large fountain in Savannah’s Forsyth Park was built in 1858 and completely restored in 1988. The two-tiered cast iron fountain rests in this larger lower basin. These are two of the four tritons (half-man, half-sea-serpent) spouting water in the lower basin.
